To demonstrate Meaningful Use in Stage 1, eligible providers (EP) and eligible hospitals (EH) are required to meet at least one Public Health objective from the menu set of Meaningful Use objectives. Below South Dakota Health Link provides information on how we can help you meet those requirements.

Electronic Lab Reporting (ELR) expedites reporting of notifiable diseases, assists in early detection of outbreaks and enables more effective public health response. ELR can help alleviate the burden of reporting and resolve the challenges of under-reporting. ELR helps identify areas of need and align public health resources for efficient delivery of services where the impact is the greatest.
